School Meal Information
Breakfast
Breakfast is served at all schools. The breakfast menu features an assortment of whole grain cereal and muffins, fresh fruit and vegetables and 100% juice or low fat milk. The cost of breakfast is $1.50 and reduced-price breakfast is $.00 (Per RI 2026 State Budget). Breakfast is served in the lunchroom prior to the start of school. Lunch Each meal comes with an entrée and a choice of up to three sides including fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and milk. At all levels, an Extra - Extra bar which contains fresh fruit and vegetables. Elementary students will be provided with a monthly menu sent home from the school. The lunch price is $2.75 for elementary students. Lunch for students who qualify for reduced-priced lunch is $.00 (Per RI 2026 State Budget). Secondary students will have menus posted in the cafeteria and classroom. The lunch price for NSHS & NSMS is $3.25. Reduced-priced lunch is $.00 (Per RI 2026 State Budget). Milk - If purchased independently is $.75 for all students (no free or reduced priced milk). |

Chartwells K-12 Dining Services has partnered with North Smithfield Public Schools. Through this partnership the schools will experience exciting changes in the school cafeterias, with new flavors, events, and food and wellness education that will surely inspire a healthy and fun environment.

If you do not provide the information or provide incomplete information, your children may no longer receive free or reduced price meals.
